I don’t usually feel anything when people I don’t know die, but it was a sad nostalgic morning for me. gold stars, metal playstructures, not knowing how to speak english,  drawing in the library books instead of reading them, exclusion. as i grew older these stories meant a lot more to me but back then i just liked the pictures.
